Bob has been an ICT design engineer and head of ICT engineering in multiple large organisations including Telstra, Macquarie Telecom, Ingram Micro, the NBN and his last position as head of engineering at Samsung Australia. Working on projects as diverse as network design, security, backup and recovery, compliance and data base management.
Bob has designed and managed infrastructure projects for the “Big 4” banks and other financial institutions in Australia, the Australian Tax Office , the Australian Defence Force and numerous multinational organisations and companies.
Bob also has extensive experience in all commercial sectors in the Australian marketplace from SME, through medium business to some of the largest corporate organisations in Australia, across vendors and distribution/channels.
From a military family Bob not only has 6 Family members who served in the Australian defense force (3RAR) but his wife was a former member of the defense force (WRAAC NCO).
Bob has a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from UTS as well as Technical Certification in Broadcast Radio and Telecommunications Voice, Data, Hosting and Mobile services.
Bob holds technical certifications from Cisco, Juniper, EMC, Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, Sourcefire and Microsoft.
